The Sister Sanctuary — Terms & Conditions

 

These Terms & Conditions govern participation in The Sister Sanctuary. By joining, you agree to the following terms.

Carla Crivaro (the “Connector”) operates The Sister Sanctuary as an online portal where Guests can access information about events, gatherings, workshops and experiences.

Individuals who join The Sister Sanctuary are referred to as “Guests.”

1. Access & Purpose

The Sister Sanctuary portal is a platform for sharing event information. Guests can view links to events they may wish to attend. Some events are organised and hosted by the Connector and others are hosted by independent third-party providers.

  • Currently, there is no membership fee to access The Sister Sanctuary portal.

  • Connector-led events may include a mark-up or fee to compensate for the Connector’s time, expertise or facilitation.

  • Some third-party events may include affiliate links, meaning the Connector may receive a commission if Guests book via those links.

Guests are responsible for choosing which events to attend and for making any bookings directly with the relevant organiser or the Connector where applicable. Participation in events is voluntary and at the Guest’s discretion.

2. Conduct & Respect

Guests agree to engage respectfully within The Sister Sanctuary and where relevant, at events. This includes:

  • Honouring confidentiality within the community

  • Respecting boundaries and personal choice

  • Refraining from unsolicited pitching, selling or promotional activity

The Connector reserves the right to remove access to any Guest whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe or misaligned with the ethos of The Sister Sanctuary.

3. Educational & Informational Nature

The portal and related content are provided for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing shared within The Sister Sanctuary or at events constitutes therapy, medical, business, financial or psychological advice.

4. Personal Responsibility

Guests are responsible for their own wellbeing, safety and engagement at any event or activity accessed through The Sister Sanctuary.

5. Confidentiality

Guests agree to respect the confidentiality of what is shared within The Sister Sanctuary and at events. Recording, reproducing or sharing personal stories or content outside of the portal or events is prohibited without consent.

6. Events & Programming

Events listed on the portal may be:

  • Connector-led events, organised and facilitated by Carla Crivaro

  • Third-party events, organised and facilitated by independent providers

Each event will be clearly identified as either Connector-led or third-party. Guests are responsible for reviewing event details and booking directly with the organiser via the links provided.

7. Third-Party Events & No Liability

For events organised by third-party providers:

  • The Connector is not responsible or liable for any aspect of the event, including booking, payment, refunds, quality, safety, content, facilitation or venue

  • All enquiries, concerns or disputes must be addressed directly to the third-party organiser or provider

  • Attendance, sharing or suggestion of third-party events by the Connector does not constitute a recommendation, endorsement, guarantee or approval of the event, its facilitator or organiser

  • Event descriptions, summaries or commentary provided on this platform regarding third-party events are for general informational purposes only. While reasonable care may be taken when sharing event information, details may be incomplete, summarised, subject to change or contain inaccuracies.

  • Guests are solely responsible for reviewing the official event listing, terms, conditions, safety information and all relevant details directly via the third-party organiser’s website or booking link before purchasing tickets or attending.

  • The Connector makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, suitability or reliability of any information relating to third-party events, whether displayed on this platform or elsewhere.

  • The Connector accepts no responsibility or liability for errors, omissions, changes, cancellations, misrepresentations, or discrepancies in event details provided by third-party organisers or platforms.

  • Any participation in third-party events is at the attendee’s own discretion and risk.

8. Connector-Led Events

For events organised directly by the Connector, Guests will book using the instructions provided on the portal or via communication from the Connector. Connector-led events may include a mark-up or fee for facilitation and standard terms and refunds for these events will be stated at the time of booking.

9. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Participation in The Sister Sanctuary or its events does not guarantee specific personal, relational or emotional outcomes. Each Guest’s experience will vary depending on engagement and circumstances.

10. Changes to Terms

The Connector may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued access to the portal or participation in events constitutes acceptance of the current version.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
