MAN MYTHS:
UNDERSTANDING MEN
A workshop for women
by Cam Fraser &
Carla Crivaro
ON A PERSONAL LEVEL....

What if a man’s ‘bad behaviour’ isn’t about YOU…how attractive/loveable/worthy you are?

It’s a symptom of some pain that they are feeling and expressing. I get many women saying that I am justifying their ‘bad behaviour’ and giving them a permission slip.

Nope, I am understanding, that just like me, they have stuff going on which means that sometimes, they aren’t acting from their best place. Having compassion also DOESN’T mean allowing them to treat you in a disrespectful way - absolutely call him out.

Choosing to accept who he is, is also liberating - we oftentimes project their ‘potential’ rather than what we are actually being presented with.

So what did this do for me PERSONALLY?

It meant I got to reframe their ‘bad behaviour’ wasn’t actually about ME.

The ghosting didn’t mean I wasn’t good enough - it meant that he was too fearful of open communication and the vulnerability that came with it.

His loss of erection didn’t mean he didn’t find me attractive - it meant he was in his head trying to be liked and please me.

All of the stories I had about ME and my worth totally shifted. And I still held compassion for those men and could let go of any resentment.

Which meant, that this new reframe I could share with my female clients!!

And so… if you are a woman, supporting women in how they relate to men in ANY  way, this webinar is for you. AND if you’re curious from a personal perspective of how you might be misunderstanding men… you’re welcome too.

YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW....

And what if that lack of awareness is holding back your relationships with men from bedroom to boardroom?

AT A PROFESSIONAL LEVEL...

I didn’t realise I had unconscious bias, until I was put in a ‘room’ where it was reflected back to me.

The ‘room’ was my coaching certification in Sacred Sexuality for men.

Even after graduation, Cam Fraser meets with the graduates monthly and it’s the main and most frequent supervision I do because as a woman, I know this is my biggest blind spot.

It sounds silly, because of course we ALL have unconscious bias and blind spots.

The thing is I just assumed a man’s experience of life, his sexuality and relationships was my own personal experience reflected back in how I was reading the situation.

Eek…

What I noticed when I eventually started working through those biases was that my ability to support women in their relationships with men really transformed.

And… in my couple’s work… the men WANTED to come because finally they were in a container where they felt seen and not blamed.

And so, if you’re looking to uplevel the work you do with women, I invite you to come and explore your blind spots with myself and Cam Fraser.

"Carla’s personalised support, thoughtful insight and at times uncomfortable questioning has been invaluable in helping me communicate and connecting better with my husband.

She’s provided me with a variety of practical techniques, such as having weekly “check-ins” and conversations with movement, which have encouraged me to give my husband the opportunity to speak without interruptions or blame.

This in turn has made him less defensive and more willing to share his feelings and concerns. Consequently, it’s also motivated him to find solutions to our joint issues - meaning we work more as a team.

This has helped decreased my “mental load” and enabled me to feel much less overwhelmed. I find myself trusting him more and being willing to celebrate his efforts (even if he makes mistakes!), rather than meeting him with frustration and criticism.

Carla has shown us how to be more conscious of our interactions with one another and how we can actively choose to strengthen our bond. For this, I am extremely grateful and would highly recommend Carla as a means to help navigate your own relationships."

Rosi, married and mother of three.
