My ‘controversial’ article “BDSM, Conscious Kink & My Inner-Dominatrix” caused quite a stir when published.
It created a divide:
Where people could not get past the ‘shocking’ photo and reduced themselves to giggling and boyish comments.
For some there was plenty of judgement around how I should and shouldn’t behave and dress - ironic as the article is about power.
There were those to whom it spoke to their own internal struggle with power and how we may project that outwards.
It was the latter category of person who invited me to explore this topic in person. Alison Pilling invited me to talk at The Sex Lectures in Manchester. The ‘performance’ was recorded and is now online for your viewing.
